WATCHMAKER
Our unique and highly interactive Do-it-Yourself (DIY) programmes are conducted with the incorporation of Instructional Scaffolding to allow students to learn new knowledge that opens new opportunities for further experimentation and learning. Such teaching method provides for a supportive learning environment that can move students progressively toward stronger understanding and, ultimately, greater independence in the learning process.
What is the Watchmaker?
The Watchmaker is one of the programmes from which students will have the opportunity to experience how to assemble and disassemble a watch, understand what makes the watch run, and design a watch by themselves. We hope that throughout the programme, students can not only understand the knowledge behind making a watch, but also the professional skills on assembly, and most importantly, to foster the valuable Craftsman Spirit in our children, who are our future.
